Default slipping problems

what would make my trans. slip in every gear? i know it's electrical so that might narrow some things down. i think it has s-thin to do with the shift solenoid. i took the ecm out and i get power in reverse, d4,d3,2 but not 1( on one wire) and i get the power down at the solenoid. i changed out solenoids from my old trans but it didn't change. (but my other trans did the same thing right b4 it burned up) the problem started after i put the transmission back in the car. i had taken it out to have the seals redone but i guess i forgot to unplug the shift solenoid and torque converter solenoid. so i know it has s-thin to do with it, the wires pulled out of the plug on the top ( wires comin from engine harness). where should i go from here? a shift solenoid is really expensive to me 300 at advance but they can't order it so i'll have to go to honda (trying not to do that unless ihave too). any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok i just learned how to pull codes and i got them. on the check engine light i got 65, and the d4 i got 15. can anybody tell me what that means. i think the engine light is just my o2 sensor but i don't know if the d4 uses the same chart or not. i got a Ignition Output Signal missing or defective ignition output signal for 15 but again i don't know if that is the right reason for that code

The 65 is your 02 sensor. I dont see anything in my Haynes for a code 15. It maybe something you can only diagnose through honda's scanners.

Yeah I dont know what a 15 is either.
Hopefully one of the Honda Techs on here will see this thread and comment. Or maybe someone that has a Helm manual will look it up. BTW, if you check the DIY section, there are downloads for a Helm manual online for free. but I'm not sure if it is for a 96 or not.

2000 Accord LX ManTrans 240,000 miles - After shifting into gear each gear revs before engaging fully. I think that my transmission has finally decided to go out on me. Is there anything that can be done to save me some $$$ on a car that I probably won't be able to sell for more than $1000???

CWalker, YOURS sounds like a slipping clutch. Still a few $$ because the transmission has to be removed in order to replace the clutch.
