Everytime I go into reverse I hear this very strange noise coming from the rear of the car. It sounds like a squeling type of sound and it is not coming from the brakes because that noise is also there and they are different sounds.

most likely it's the brakes. the rear pads love to wear down abnormally fast. you may here a grinding noise while going forward and a screeching noise while going backward when worn low enough. hurry and have them inspected before you damage the rotors.
