Stumped
I currently just replaced the motor in my 1996 Accord sedan (f22b2) automatic, non vtech with the same exact motor. It idles normal, no check engine light. Runs fine, BUT when it gets to 3000 rpm it stutters. It doesn't shut off though. Can somebody please help?

Is Check Engine Light (CEL) coming on for 2 secs and going off when engine is started? This is CEL operation test. If not, CEL bulb may be out.
Suggest also checking by shorting service check connector (blue 2 wire, red and grn/blu, under glove box). If Check Engine Light stays on continuously, this indicates the back-up engine control is in operation (fail safe). Fix is to substitute a known good ECM.
Used ECM's are readily available at reasonable prices on ebay and car-part.com. Be sure to get an ECM w/ exact part number as original.
good luck
