Exclamation Summer heat vs Honda..Put Questions In Here Please..

How to start this off... Well my friend is driving a 93 accord. The car seemed possessed.
If it were in the hot sun it would not start. So she rolled it in the garage and let it sit and about 15 min later then it would start.

We have read a lot of posts about the main relay..

So we are ready to head to the river the other day and her car was in the garage. She started the car up just fine. We get to the first drop off point and leave my car, I jump in with her then about a half mile down the road the car loses FUEL pressure. The car was still on, but when she gave it gas nothing. Well she was able to get it on a side road and here is where the story comes to an end.

Original relay opens and closes. New relay that she bought opens and closes. No change in the car starting with the new or original relay.

Fuel pump is circulating and working. After my super smart friend did some reading she located the ECM and 2 wire code plug. we jumped the wires and code 15 came across.

Well I took apart and cleaned the throttle body. Took off the cap on the distributor and tried to test the igniter unit.

I guess my question is this. What is causing this?
My friend says that it just feels like it points to an issue of the fuel not igniting. I agree 100% something is not right on this, but what?

Fuel Filter, Distributor, Sending Unit, ECM, Bad Injectors,....I AM LOST IN THE CAR....

Code 15 usually is the igniter or wiring.

Some parts stores can test ignitors. I think O'Reillys can test them. Call before you would take it there. Also carefully inspect the wiring inside the distributor for the ignitor.

There is an important ground on the thermostat housing below the distributor. I would remove the bolt, clean the bolt and the eyelet with a wire brush, then reattach.

May still be igniter or wiring. Generally, the test of the igniter is for voltage and the igniter triggering signal.

I am not sure what resistance testing (i.e., ohms) you're performing?

Here's a link that may help you:
Part 1 -Honda Igniter, Ignition Coil Test (1.5L, 1.6L, 2.2L, 2.3L)

Since your friend was able to start the car and have troubles later, it may be the igniter is failing intermittently.
