Default timing belt

Bought 99 accord 2.0i auto few months ago. Just had it serviced today & mechanic recommended changing the timing belt. She has exactly 60000 miles on clock. Goes like a dream.

is it time to change it? should i source it myself? if so, any suggestions where?

Regards

Derek (Dublin)

You are probably fine out to 80-90k miles if you do more highway than city driving but either way changing it now isn't a bad idea..... consult the following link to our DIY section for plenty of write-ups on how to do it.
