Default timing belt change

I have an Accord v6 (2001), 142,000 km.
Origionally, honda recommended the replacement of the timing belt at 100,000 km (60,000 mi).AsI approached that milage I was told that Honda had revised that mileage upward to 150,000 km (90,000 mi). Last week, a parts guy told me the belt change mileage had been increased again, this time to 175,000 km ( 105,000 mi).
Can anyone confirm this latest change?

Thanks,
Peter

The Honda Owner's Manual for my 2000 4Cyl Accord LX says 105,000 miles (or 175,000 km.) I'm not too sure about the V6 though. Did you get your first number from your owner's manual? If it was a true Hondarepair shop, I would trust them if they said 105k miles.

The original interval was recommended by the manual for Canadian service conditions. The changes were advised by Canadian dealer parts people. Both, in fact when I attempted to price out the belt replacement job. Perhaps I'm being over cautious, trying to confirm the change.
Thanks
