Default TPMS System

I have a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L V6 and I had to replace the TPMS Sensor on one wheel. The system was not reprogrammed and the system seems to be working fine afer driving about 30 miles sinnce installation. Will my TPMS system light eventually come on after changing one of the valves and not reprogramming the system?

Why isn't the dealer handling all this for you seems like that should all be covered under warranty?

Well I'm thinking you are ok.....drop the air pressure to ~25 psi and see if the light comes on......where did you get the sensor?

Was the original TPMS sensor damaged along with the rim/tire? Usually, the TPMS sensor can be re-used, although it is recommended to replace the washer on the TPMS nut and the grommet on the valve stem.

If they replaced the original sensor with the new one and the new TPMS sensor I.D. number was not programmed in; then, yes, the TPMS indicator bulb should eventually light on the dash.

ok. I didn't have a small torque wrench on hand for the tpms valve installation. Will this cause a problem because I didn't tighten the nut to factory specifications?
