also my tranny shifts really hard from second to third and back down. it only happens when i'm sitting in traffic and having to speed up and slow down. someone told me the solenoids could need to be cleaned. all others shift good. its an auto

what's the year and trim is your accord?
The downshifting can and might be bad mounts.
Do you have OEM air box? CIA SRI??
For one f22 engines stop making power at 5800rpms anyways. My accord use to only shift at 5800rpms when I had my OEM air box. After installed SRI it would rev to 6000rpm at WOT then change gear but it would kinda struggle from 5000-6000rpms. When I got my CAI it would shift still a 6000rpm at WOT but didn't have the struggle for tho's last 1k RPMs.
I also have my TB cable tighten so when I'm at WOT my TB plate opens all the way.

I don't have any crazy mods done to my DD cb7
f22a1- Just CAI f22a4 header NGK blues spark plug wires with NGK plugs

try power brake it with the hood open and have your friend watching the motor, if it jump higher than 1 inch or so in forward or reverse, then the mount could be bad.

Its not a bad idea to clean the solenoids and the screen.

I would also adjust that cable between the throttle body and the transmission.
