Default Tranny swap?

I'm likely going to put a new motor into my 92 Accord ex sedan a/t. I'm just wondering if I could put a 5 speed m/t in with relative ease and what small parts I should need before the work begins.

It can be done, but it may be more work than it is worth. I think the transmission mount is in a different location. There are other parts that you will need, like the ECU, the clutch hydraulics, pedals, axles (I think are different). I am sure there are plenty of other things that I am forgetting.

I remember a thread about this subject a while back. You might be able to find it via a search.

A used 92 MT will probably be a less expensive option.
