I have transmission fluid spraying out of the center hole circled in the attached picture.
I thought I damaged the coolant hose when moving it to fit my socket when removing the solenoid. I replaced the hose, but now it appears the fluid is blowing out of this center hole rather than the hose.
I can't find where there is a bolt, washer, or gasket that should go here. I can't even find what this would be called.
The hose on the transmission is for the breather/vent. It probably has to do with the vent.
I replaced the hose, because I initially thought that's where the leak was. Number 6 in the above diagram. But the transmission fluid is coming out of the plate next to the hose...the middle hole. Are you saying that's a vent?
