Default trouble shifting, automatic
[align=left]I have a 1999 Accord EX, automatic with about 106,000 miles. Lately I am not able to move the gear selector out of Park. Of course it is intermittent.

The brake pedal switch energizes the shifter interlock solenoid under the center console.
Can you hear the interlock solenoid?
are your brake lights working?
