valve cover bolts stripped
so i was putting my valve cover on today, when i realized i could turn the nuts forever without them offering any resistance. i then tried to take them off and only about half came off. any idea what the problem is and how to fix it? thanks

The studs are screwed into the valve train on most Hondas.
The ones you can't turn the nuts off, try grabbing them with vise grips and pulling up while turning; or if you can wedge a screw driver blade under them and pry up while turning.
Worst case is to cut them off with a cutting wheel on your die grinder.
When you put it all back together remember 10 ftlbs MAX thats about as tight as you can turn a 1/4 driver with your wrist.

replace the studs after you get the valve cover back off; 12 or 14mm deepwell socket.
I'm pretty sure you tighten down the new studs to 15ftlbs. {too lazy to look it up
