Also I wanted to ask if you know how I can repair my hanging headliner? I had my car detailed and I think the person used a steamer & didn’t really know the damage it would cause. A week later my headliner started having pockets of what looked like air and it began hanging…now it’s worse.

Looks like you can either use something mechanical like staples or re-glue with a spray contact cement. It depends on where you have sags and how bad they are.

oof, those dashboard lights can be so annoying! I had a similar problem and it ended up being a wiring issue. Maybe ask if they can check the wiring harness? just an idea.

I ripped mine out, removed all the liquefied foam crap, used WeldWood and a leopard print blanket. Turned out SWANKY

Wow it sounds like it! I don’t think I’m that crafty. Do you think weldwood would work with the original roof material?

I tried to reattach the original skin
did a $#!tty job of removing the foamy slime by reaching in the holes. Used spray adhesive. It did not want to stick in any places with a concave shape, and would not cover the corners. Was a $#!t show. Then in the morning most of it had fallen down. It was a miserable wasted effort.

The leopard print blanket on the other hand...
I removed all the handles and corner post trim and crap, cleaned the headliner very well, took out front seats, threw down a drop sheet, mopped on the weldwood (comes in a bucket) with a roller and brush. Let it dry a bit and reapplied a light coat, hung the blanket when it was still kinda wet because i couldnt apply it to the blanket and do the dry-bond between 2 coated surfaces.

Found the middle of blanket, found middle of car, hung it with some clips. Went to town with a Dry Narrow paint roller. Start in the middle and work out. Push firmly and stretch it into the concave shapes. If you get a wrinkle you can pull it back and try again. If the sauce dries too much you can put a little more as you get to that section. Dont overdo the sauce or it might seep out through the blanket and drown the nap.

Mine turned out perfect.
