Default VSA & ABS warnings - advice needed

New member, Honda Accord cdti 2006. Travelled up to Skye on holiday yesterday; 10 miles short of destination, ABS and VSA warning lights both came on. Car still drove alright. Stopped after a couple of minutes to investigate what was wrong, but no visible problem (brakes still fully operational, ABS fluid plenty). tried to re-start engine, but wouldn't start. Both warning lights still there, seemingly preventing start. At the ignition position, dials intermittently working/not working, satnav screen went off. Luckily I was stopped on a small hill and was able to jump-start the car and got to my destination. Now I have to fix it. Was thinking of disconnecting the battery then re-connecting it to see if that would clear the fault, but I'm worried that this might disable the engine management unit and/or the radio and/or immobiliser.
Any clues guys? Kenny

Loss of battery voltage may cause this problem. Repairing the root cause of low battery should fix ABS/VSA issue.

good luck
