1. With ECM connector B unplugged, plug back in the VSS and see if the voltage is okay now (0V to 5v); just to rule out something else.

2. For the ECM, open it up and see if there is any components damaged such as blown capacitors or burnt resistors.

Honda part # 37820-P0G-A51 is the ECM for 95 Accord V6. If that is what is currently in your car, that is probably the reason for the problem.

Generally, any ECM listed for a 94-95 Accord 4 cylinder non-VTEC (2.2L F22B2 U.S. Emissions) with automatic transmission should be compatible.

The current listed Honda part number for a 95 Accord 4 cylinder non-VTEC shows 37820-P0B-A51. Rockauto also shows 37820-P0B-A50. The last 3 alpha-numerical digits at the end (for example, A51, A50, etc.) are manufacturer codes. Sometimes revisions/changes are made to the parts or it is a different manufacturer. So, there may be more ECMs compatible for your car other than just what I listed.

Honda part sites only show 37820-P0G-A51 for your 1995 V6.

The 1996 V6 shows 37820-P0G-A53 and doesn't list it for 95 V6.
The 1997 V6 shows 37820-P0G-A54 and doesn't list it for 95 V6.

Id guess because of the introduction of Obd2 in 96...So i dont need to worry about the little numbers under the main ecm part #?

The 1995 Accord V6 was pre-OBD II; but, it was certified by CARB (California Air Resource Board) as OBD-II compliant. It has the OBD port. However, there may have been some changes in 96 and 97. Honda has separate electrical troubleshooting manuals for 96 and 97; however, I am not going to trace to see if there are any wiring differences.

Just match up the 37820-P0G-A51.
