Hi all—2005 4-cylinder 120K miles. Was throwing P1009 intermittently. Cleaned the oil screen, replaced the VTEC solenoid and after maybe 50 miles, still getting P1009 code. Slightly rough idle at cold start. What’s next? Common on this engine? Owned VTEC Honda’s forever but never had this issue until this car. And, any harm in driving it with this timing issue until we can get it back to shop?
