!! Vtec or not vtec !!
This model doesn't have a pressure switch just a bolt in its place. Do I remove the bolt to check the oil pressure? Thanks again, I will shoot him a message for ideas!
The 96 shop manual that 10 mm bolt can be removed to attach a pressure gauge.
With the solenoid unplugged, you should have less than 7 psi pressure. The solenoid has 1 wire going to it (green/yellow). If you give that wire 12V, the pressure should be greater than 36 psi. The testing procedure says to test at 1000, 2000, and 4000 rpm.
