Default vtec solenoid p1259 code

I had p1259 code and car would start missing at 3500rpm. Replaced solenoid from dealer and runs great now. The check engine light will not go away though. Tried unhooking battery didnt work tried restting with code reader and no luck said cant reset code. Any ideas?

Sorry I left out its a 2000 accord with 4 cylinder

I believe 1259 is fault in oil pressure switch circuit; bad wire, connector, pressure switch, or ECU fault.

My code reader says p1259 vtec malfunction. It will not even allow me to reset the code.

Make sure the ECM ground at G101 is firmly attached. Pull the No. 13 (7.5A) clock/back-up fuse in the passenger side interior fuse box for at least 10 seconds to try to reset the ECM/PCM.

Vtec has a pressure switch which can have fault P1259 as described. Get a manual and it will be clear.

Guys, please be sure to check the wiring going into the Vtec solenoid. Make sure the wires are all connected to the proper places. It may seem simple, but this was the problem that was giving me the p1259 code.
