No I am not. That is a pic of my oldest son. He had graduated from OCS for the Marines, that is a pic from OCS graduation day. He was killed in a car accident ~2 months later (10-30-11). He was a passenger in the car.

Default 2007 Accord EX-L V6: water in the floorboards after a sloshing sound was heard

update: the Accord's been garaged when the weather forecast was for rain in the area. I'd been out of town, the wife drove an hour or so to pick me up. She'd noticed the sloshing sound again, I heard it as well whenever she turned a corner - seemed to be more prominent when turning left(?). This time, water dripped on my feet - passenger side, under the dash below the glove box. I had her stop the car, and I looked - saw water dripping from the lowest slung portion of a wiring harness, but couldn't see the source or from which direction of the harness the water was running. She said there'd been zero rain, but hot and very humid. She had the A/C running the entire drive over to pick me up, and also earlier in the day prior to this trip. Seems like a plugged drain tube, right front pillar - just might find that both sunroof and A/C share the same drain tube, which could have accelerated the buildup into the initial instance of flooding. Bought a set of floor ramps, time to get it up off the ground for an inspection and more testing. Need to pull the carpeting and padding too, there's a distinct smell from the moisture - smells like dead bugs.

Anyone have any sage advice on this from your own "flooding" experience?

From the last description - worry with the ac drain tube. Find where it "pokes" thru the firewall on the pass side - shop vac (on water setting) and go for it.

Also with that much water in there, need to really think about replacing the cabin air filter.

EDIT: the AC drain and moonroof drain are two different drains. The "sounds" and the fact watter dripped on your feet - AC Drain is what you need.
