Washer adjustment
I have a 2000 Honda Accord and I have a couple of questions -
1. How do I adjust the windshield washer on my car? The jet barely touches the windshield... and I can't seem to figure out how I would go about adjusting the angle of the spray. It doesnt have the jet nozzle like older cars - but it has a flat hole that doesn't seem to be adjustable.
2. Which is the best wiper blade for the car - with least noise and good durability/performance?

Please fix your signature to give vehicle info like everyone else.
Your stock nozzles are not adjustable. The best that you can do is remove them and clean them with a pin.
I replaced mine with nozzles that are adjustable and have 3 sprayers each. I think that they were $15-20.
You have to look for a bit because most of the nozzles sold online have LED's on them ..... plain black is harder to find, but they're out there.
As for wiper blades, I've had good and bad experiances. What I have on right now are Silblade Ultimates. They are an all-weather design and are warranteed for 5 years (that's why I got them ..... noone else will give this warantee!). They clear the windshield well, but can chatter a little when it's not that wet. Also, they tend to throw a few drops back on the windshield when real wet ..... I think this is inherrent to the flexblade design ..... had the same problem with the Valeo's (which I don't recommend for excessive chatter, even when fully wet!).

Thanks for the sig.
As for the nozzles, there are clips on 2 sides (front & rear) that you can release from inside the hood. .... pull off the hose first. Squeeze the clips and the nozzle pushes out through the outside of the hood.

I had to have my windshield replaced because of a crack. The windshield guy wasn't careful. While he got the hoses connected, one had a 90 degree bend that stopped the fluid from coming out. I fixed that but now one squirts half on the glass half over the roof, and the other one points low enough it squirts onto the wiper blade. Tried just putting a needle into the hole and directing it but no luck. Any ideas?? Any one had success?
