Default Whats wrong with my car?

I came to a stop and went to go and the car would hardly move, the RPM's going up to 5 so I switched gears it moved a little more then finally in 3rd gear it went after trying for a while. Then it did it again at my next stop. What is this? I have a 1995 Honda Accord.

Sounds like your clutch is worn out.

I moved you post out into it's own thread cause it's different than the other guy's problem.

You didn't mention if your car is an automatic or manual, but if its a manual than I would agree with Jim that it is a worn out clutch.

"Erin12"-Yes, auto or manual would be nice to know. If a manual, then suggestions have been given. If an auto, start with checking the fluid level. Also, is or has the check engine light (CEL) come on...if auto, is or has the D4 light been blinking?
