Default white spark plug

I have a 2001 4cyl auto Accord with 64K. Getting 24 mpg. Decided to check the plugs and the second from left, facing the engine, was very white. I am told this indicated a lean mix, but how should I proceed to diagnose the problem? Other plugs are normal tan color. They are original laser platinum NGK. Should I replace them just for being 10 years old or does that not matter. Appreciate any advice. Larry

A white spark plug is usually indicative of running hot. Gap may have changed and in the incorrect range.

If it was me, I would changed them if they were the original plugs.

just change the plugs. all honda or for that matter modern engines burn lean. the additives in gas including 10% ethanol cause this condition.
