Windshield Washer

Default Windshield Washer

My windshield washer fluid barely squirts, hardly more than a dribble. It doesn't even make it to the windshield. Been like this for awhile, but now with winter here is really a problem. There is plenty fluid in it. Is there a screen or filter somewhere that may just need to be cleaned? What else can I look for?

I had that at the rear washer of a couple cars. Used infrequently, it would dry up. If it's ever had the opportunity to dry up in the lines, maybe this will help.

Use a hairdryer to warm up as much of the lines as you can get access to. Then run the washer motor for a LONG time. Like a few minutes. It might just need to be flushed out real good.

...or take a bread tie, strip the plastic/paper off the wire. Then GENTLY use the wire to open/clean the hole on the nozzle. Spray them, clean a bit more.
