Default Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement - 97Accord

Hello,

My windshield wiper motor went dead....also after a snowstorm.
I had read that tightening the bolts on the wiper arms might help.. it did not seem to help, and i can hear the motor do a slow churn when i do turn it on.

So far i removed the wiper arms and the plastic casing that goes across the bottom of the windshield. The motor which is on the drivers side below the windshield has been very difficult to remove. I am still trying to figure out which bolts actually attach the motor to the block. The look like they might attach from the bottom.. ?

Does anyone know which bolts should be removed and how to get to them? I also will need to remove the power to it first, but not sure if my hands are small enough.. I do have the new motor ready for replacement.

Thanks so much for any advice!
Karl

Your best source of info will be a shop manual for the 94 accord. It is almost identical to your 97.

You can download it from the spoon honda link in the Online Manuals thread in the DIY section.
