I cannot get my windshield wipers sorted.

They wiggle across the windshield, don't clean, travel too far below the bottom edge of the windshield and sometimes hit the left side.

I have had them adjusted but this has not resolved the issue. They seem to have some play in them, but since they were previously ok I don't know if this is new.

Could someone give me some advice about what might be wrong and also if someone has the scanned section of the factory service manual (FSM) that would be even better.

Are the wiper rod bushings worn out?

 

Possiblility. I trust the entire thing can be rebuilt with new parts. I haven't disassembled it because I don't have a repair manual. Is there one scanned for the 1999 sedan?

 

assuming the 2 top nuts are not loose,, Like CHIO says the rods ushing might be worn out or came apart out of place,, you need to remove the cowl to inspect it

 

Thanks. I'll have Honda look at it tomorrow and tell me what it needs then I need someone here to help me find a parts source.
