well first off i have an 1999 accord 2dr with the 2.3l and it seems sometimes if i turn my headlights on when my steering wheel isn't fully straight the wipers just start going most of the time of i drive turning left to right then return steering wheel straight again it stops. But then on the other side if i turn my turn signal to the left it will turn on also, if my steering wheel isn't straight.
I know in old ford trucks start having weird problems like this it starts to point at the steering column harness needs to be replaced. could it be that simple on these cars too?

Yes, something is sending a ground signal to the wipers. I'd pull the covers from the steer wheel and inspect the wires.

When they come on, are they "on" or are they in "inter" mode? Or another way, pull the inter relay and see if the same thing happens.....this is only to help find the source of the ground.

 

yeah i hate it too. its on just goes and goes ive tried that too just letting do it a dozen times or so hoping it would stop on its own, but no luck ha. but lately when it does it with me getting off work at 1-4 am im never in the mood to even care i just pull the wiper fuse and go on my way

 

Not the fuse, there is a relay for the intermittent wipers.
