Default Wiring in daytime running lights..

Hello all. Just bought some Philips daytime running lights for my 1993 Honda Accord SE Auto. The instructions say to splice into the sidelight wiring to get the power to the LEDs. There appear to be only two wires going into the sidelight, 1 x black & 1 x red. Would that be the red wire then? Thanks - Paul
