Default wiring problem

hello 93 accord lx, on the driver side fan their are 2 conectors one for the fan and a smaller one dose anyone know what the other one is for. when we got my wifes car back from the shop it was just hanging.

Was it plugged in before? Have you mentioned it to the shop or brought it back for them to look at? My guess is that one is power and the other is either a control lead or a feedback lead ..... either way, they usually don't put extra stuff in cars that doesn't get used.

its plugged in know, im not going to be able to get it back to the shop until monday. i dont think it goes to the fan it is a single wire conector. its by itself and black its the conector below the fan conector.

sometimes there are extra electrical connections on certain cars so they can use the same wiring harness for several different engines... but i thought the f22 was the only engine that was offered stock on 4th gen(90-93). probably supposed to be plugged in somewhere.

What did you send it in to the shop for?

i'm thinking it's the a/c compressor clutch wire. it has it's own little clip on the radiator fan shroud to clip in to. if it's not connected find the wire from the compressure and slap em together then secure that thing!

she took it to the shop for check eng. light. one end of the clip goes to the harness, the other goes to a dif clip wedged between the ac com and power steering pump.
