They do have those turbo systems that mount at the rear of the exhaust to keep the engine bay clean and in case there isn't any room. Then you could use the oem manifold but your flow would be grossly restricted.

Or is that a remote turbo system? I don't know the actual name.

I thought they were called remote, but I guess I could be wrong. Either way thats a terrible idea.

I cant imagine how much lag there are on those... you almost have to go twin tiny turbo on those to get them to spool up lol.

Lag yes, spool no. The trim and AR's are set up differently to deal with the cooler smaller volume of exhaust.
