bypass valve
i decided to buy a aem cold air intake V1 with bypass valve. instead of the V2 just because the risk of hydrolock.
I was wondering, do you have to saw the inatke in half? so that the bypass valve slides on?
Does it slide on easy? or does pressure need to be applied? im really confused about this valve.
And if you did saw it. would you saw it towards the midle of the pipe. down low or up top.

By v1 do you mean just the regular cold air intake, the one without dual chambers? Because it wont work with the v2.
On the majority of AEM Cold Air Intake Kits, the Air Bypass Valve installs right to the upper inlet pipe
