i don't have a caibut as what others say here is that it depends where you live. if it rains a lot where you at then you might as well have one to avoid hydrolocking your engine. if itsnot the case then it is not necessary to have one.

You can always use the regular AEM CAI with a bypass valve. Where do you live, is there a lot of water on the streets when it rains? Some people say you dont need the bypass valve, but I would say $45 is a good price to pay to be sure.

been talked about many many many times
reasons to get a bypass
1 driving through deep water that goes high enough to cover the filter
2 if your filter is completely exposed to open air ie not covered by the bumper and lower guard
