So I've been shopping around for an exhaust system for my 2000 Accord V6 and have found a few candidates. My concern is the noise level. I'm confused as to wether installing a new exhaust will cause my ride to be louder than tolerable. What factors would cause noise from the exhaust? Would lessening the noise cause a decrease in HP?

 

It just depends on the muffler. Exhaust systems that come with silencers are going to be loud. If you want an exhaust with performance but it reall quiet than get the Apexi WS2. It is what I have and you can barely hear it when you floor it.

 

do you have a coupe or sedan? i think there are more choices than the sedan. i have ws2 also and i love it. also having silencers placed in the mufflers will affect the performance.
