Ahem......mine is VTEC. Look at the valve cover in the pic. All98-02 LX's were VTEC.The only non-VTEC 6th gen is the DX model.

Ah the joys of ebay intakes.
Im not sure why we're comparing nipples on pics of intakes of two different models of Accord vtec or non. Im not familiar with the 5th generations, so I really dont know. However I do know that eBay intakes will often have the uh whats it called... wrong stuff. Yah. So it is possible that your extra nipple is just that, an extra nipple. Again im not really sure, and probably not much help. (Buy an AEM, its got instructions too!)
