short ram intake sucking in hot air?
Oh yeah marbro. Even here in Mississippi in the summertime you can spit on the asphalt and it will sizzle andfry like an egg and evaporate in a few seconds. And that is only at about 100 degrees outside. I can't imagine how hot that asphalt gets in AZ.That makes a lot of sense deserthonda. I never thought of that. When I get an intake I'll definitely go SRI.

Oh the pavement in AZ is ridiculous in the summer. Im not sure where Desert is, but I spent a year stationed about an hour south of Tucson, and the summer gets hot. Try Phoenix, thats borderline retarded-hot.
im just making the comment cause the cold air intake will still be pulling cooler air, unless you have it exposed, then i could believe that its pulling hotter air then in the engine bay. It should still be cooler in the front bumper while youre driving vs the short ram.
And all i have to say is needles, california you havent suffered unless youve been there for a day ^_^

Haha...all you guys from the dry heat states think it is so much hotter there. Please don't take me wrong. I know it is ridiculously hot where you are. But try to think about98 degrees and 90% humidity like it is in the summer all the timeMississippi. I had buddies from Texas that thought it got hot there and they were like "It's not hot until it's in the hundreds." Then they came to MS in the summer and were like "how do you breathe? I feel like I'm in a steam room!" Sorry I guess I'm on a rant [sm=rant.gif]. Please forgive me.
