Default what to do with IAR???

i installed my AEM SRI on my 96' accord f22b1 and i remove my IAR(intake air resonator)vacuum assembly.what do i do with the vacuum hose that is left open(i capped it with a screw for now).i think it was attached to the IAR tank. can i just remove the whole assembly and not worry about any vacuum leak?will that affect my gas mileage? thanks for any advice given.

The iar box is used to quiet the engine as it draws in air. Scrap the box and capping the hoses is fine. The iar is not emissions sensitive so I don't think you'll have any mileage issues. If you want to remove the whole assembly that should be fine but I would cap any little vaccum lines.
