Default is it worth getting a catback in exchange for the heavy weight?

i got my megan racing catback two days ago and the first thing i realized was that it is pretty heavy
is it worth adding that weight on to the car for that small amount of power gain?

Have you felt the weight of your stock exhaust? the weight difference shouldn't be enough to offset the powergains...

my buddy laughed at me when i bought a cat back, he did a weld on. (same car) his sounds like a rusty eggbeater and cannot keep up with mine. I think it is well worth it. plus the sound

The only thing that I could see weighing more than stock would be the pipe since it's larger.

A specifically tuned performance part is always going to be better than the stock part that it replaces, & you already have the part!
