I have a new 2012 Accord coupe 4 cylinder and am only getting 22 mpg on mixed driving. This is including trips to the airport that have no stops and are 110 miles round trip. Can anyone advise me on this? I am beginning to think I have a lemon. The dealer says the mpg will go up to 28 after 5000 miles but I have 2500 and so far the mpg is totally unchanged since day one.

I would take the car for a full highway trip and calculate the mileage. Fill it up before you go, drive at least 50 miles all highway, then fill it up when you get off the highway and see what kind of mpg you get.
