New to Hondas
Well after driving Saabs for the last many years, I have moved over to a 2005 Honda Accord. I have owned the car for just a few weeks and I am impressed. I have a 4 cyl. EX and love everything about it. The car is built very well, nimble and responsive. I am getting about 29 MPG combined driving ( should it be more?) and enjoying a very comfortable ride.
Anything special that I should know or look out for to make sure I get the best out of this car including a long life?
Cheers

Welcome to the forum! sounds like a pretty nice car, not to much to be "wary" of with that car, the 2005's seem pretty good, and if you're getting 29MPG between highway and in town then I'd say you're doing just great! The only thing to keep in the back of your mind is that with honda motors the timing belt is key and should be changed at about 90k miles....

RE: New to Hondas
Welcome MartinD93.. I also have the 2005 Accord. I love the car. I'm getting around 36MPG on highway trips and around 26 in town. The only thing I have done so far was to put in a K&N air filter. Next oil change I will be going over to Amsoil to give it a try !! This is a great forum and I'm sure other members here can answer mostly any and all questions you may have.
