Most likely. Pretty much all of the same size cars from any company that has ties to another have the same chassis. Doesnt really matter, fords have never had a chasis problem.

There are likely many parts on your sixth gen made by Ford. Take out your gauge cluster. I bet is says "Ford" on it.
Why do you want a car assembled in japan anyway? The workers are not as strong, so they cannot tighten things down well enough (which will cause rattles over time.) The workers are overworked/underpaid. Etc..
