Most likely. Pretty much all of the same size cars from any company that has ties to another have the same chassis. Doesnt really matter, fords have never had a chasis problem.

So does anyone know if the 6th gen accords parts are built in japan but assembled in usa or if the car is simply just assembled in usa?

There are likely many parts on your sixth gen made by Ford. Take out your gauge cluster. I bet is says "Ford" on it.

Why do you want a car assembled in japan anyway? The workers are not as strong, so they cannot tighten things down well enough (which will cause rattles over time.) The workers are overworked/underpaid. Etc..
