How old is the oil? Tires ok? Check the tire pressure before the trip. AC is cold? Check all exterior light. Make sure that you have some emergency No-Doze or Redbull. Did you change the timing belt at 105 or 110k miles? Get the battery and charging system checked (free). Make sure that you have snacks and soft drinks for the ride ... did I miss anything? A can of fix-a-flat is a good idea in addition to the spare tire. Your AAA card. All paperwork .... insurance, registration. Radar detector, E-Z-Pass, sunglasses, drygas (ya never know) ...... and a full tank of[sm=nxsmile.gif]

AAA if you have it. I wouldn't be too worried about it, but it's just so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg if you get stranded.

Fix-a-flat is can of gooey green stuff that will inflate a flat tire until you can fix it. They sell it just about anywhere these days in the automotive section (or biking section)

Um, last fall I drove 1,200 miles in one weekend (Ames, IA to Menomonie, WI and back, then once again at the end of the weekend) and regularly drove a 500 mile round trip from my home in Stillwater, MN to Ames, IA and this was a 1995 Accord with 225k on the odometer. You can drive as long as you want as long as you don't run out of gas or overheat the coolant.

Just keep an eye on the temp. You should be fine. About the timing belt ... was that done at 120k?

Check your regular acceserys belt if it hasnt been said already and carry basic tools. Carry a few rags to clean your windshield because there are always bug guts that dont always wipe off with the windshield wipers. Load up with tunes for the radio also. Good luck.
