Danny: The glass roof can't help the sound, but there is a headliner in the car so it's not much worse than any hatchback.

Ray: 116 HP? I don't have to out handle him. I can just drive a little hard and kill based on power alone. That car can be made real sick though.

Status: Not "take my breath away" ..... Knocked the wind out of me .... not even joking. So far I have poly bushings, front strut bar, rear 4 point strut brace, adjustable swaybars, adjustable coilover suspension and I got my new rear endlinks in the mail today. Next weekend I can get it aligned .... about a week or so later my front endlinks should make it here and then onto custom one-off poly bushings for everything that Energy Suspension doesn't make .... potentially a tie bar, upgraded rear lower control arms ..... all depends on what my buddy and I think it needs. I've already found that I need a 0.25" aircraft aluminum skid plate ..... break out the plasma torch!!!! ...... so far, including labor ... I'd say somewhere in the $3-4k range, not including my Toyo's.

Oh at least you have a headliner, lol if it were my car you'd catch me putting studio foam on the glass. If only I didn't have to see out my windows....

Alec I used to be believer in these high quality epoxy filled heat shrink butt connectors. But I have seen them start to fail on my boats, so now I take the time to solder and heat shrink everything.

Yeah I'm scared to touch my suspension too, not that I would ever even upgrade it... Brakes is prolly the only thing I want to upgrade, unless they come out with an even quiter exhuast than stock.

My car only has a 1.5" drop all around, but 17's with 45's make it a little rougher. Believe it or not, the suspension actually wears the tires slower ..... all the stuff that I use holds the alignment better and it puts pressure on the ground more evenly. Also, I check the air a lot too.

Edit: I plan to do the fake dynamat trick with roofing asphalt when I find the time ..... the road noise is way worse than the roof.

Edit 2: If I don't go over anything that's an inch high, the suspension is quite comfortable due to the helper springs ..... part of why it's such a surprise when you get the wind knocked out of ya!
