I think I have the same size speakers in the back as the front, so I'm gonna swap them around so I can actually bring teh soundstage up to the front more instead of just fading it forward, dunno why I didnt think of this before...

I also faded them forward all the way just to see what it would sound like with only front speakers and I definitely dug it, too bad i carry people around a lot and think the people in the back would enjoy some tunes too. It's bad enough for my passengers already with time correction adjusted for the drivers seat haha.

The best thing you could do for a budget system is to buy an HU with built in crossovers and time correction. Speakers don't distort as much at high volume and the correction makes it sound like you have headphones on
My post clearly says I adjusted the crossovers so the speakers would sound better and not distort as much because they're not stressing on low notes anymore.

The timing correction does make it sound like you have headphones on because they are adjusted so you are theoretically sitting in the middle, even though you're technically in the driver's seat. I can tell the different night and day when I'm in the passenger seat, other people... not so much

More of my post was talking about the crossover than the timing correction... so how did I only mention timing? lol

Anywho, remembered that the rear speaks are 6x9 so I won't be moving the nicer ones up front... or buying better front speakers for $50

I installed the Peripheral PESWIPS steering wheel control adapter last night. It works well, but it reacts a tiny bit slow ..... oh well, better than no buttons.

Oh yeah, this thing works for just about anything! ..... including accords up to '07

Haha, I figured as much so I didn't get too worked up about it...

Really tempted to dump some money into speakers and an amp, but I don't have any

Need to do my brake soon too... thinking bremobo blanks up front, parts store drum and some wagner shoes... should be a good setup and then a more aggressive pad up front when the Hawk HPS wear out

The next step would be EBC Redstuff. I liked the HPS's on the accord, but I also had Brembo Sport rotors, so they may have been performing a little better ..... who knows

Meh, I havent heard much good about EBC... seem like the entry level car guru purchase... I'm thinking Akebono or the next step up with the Hawks...

What are the Sport rotors? Slotted? Drilled? I'm gonna stick with the blanks, I'd only get slotted if I ever autocrossed it... just pointless on a DD with no power

you can get either, but I had drilled. I hear that HP's and HP+ are too high temp for DD use and make noise at low speed, but then again I've heard that about Redstuff, but I've felt them in person and there was no low end noise and awesome braking .... on the EP3.

You guys are lucky, Accords have good breaks. The Scion is going to need some TLC in that department. I want a BBK kit that uses the stock pad, so maybe powerslot, but everyone and their mother makes a front setup for my car .... about 2 or 3 do the rears.

Yeah I got the SWIJACK, I'm petty happy with it. It does responded a bit slow, almost like an IR repeater and sometimes likes to ignore my input but I've got no complaints. I like a mute button and my HU doesn't have one, so it was worth it just for that. I just programmed the mode button for mute.

Man I wish I could deaden my car up like that, I need a job....

I'm going to need to replace my pads soon, Brandon what were those pads you recommended me again?

Probably Hawk HPS... a tad bit better than OEM pads for a bit less.

I think I'm ordering Brembo blanks in the nexts few weeks... might spend a bid more for the the slotted ones... $45 vs $55
