Did a ton of work on her last weekend, forgot to post that on the day I did it. I updated my thread with my progress.

Last night I added Rain-X to the windshield and holy hannah does that stuff work (forgive me, I've never used it before)! The rear window doesn't have a wiper so I was very glad for the Rain-X today as there was some rain this morning on the way to work, and I could actually see out my back window!

Oh, Rain-x treatment is my best friend. All of mine get it and I will go OCD with it as well.

There is the normal treatment, then a few times a year I go all out. A good cleaning of the glass, will actually get a razor blade out and scrape everything off the glass. Clean the glass and then apply a new treatment. Next thing you know I'm rolling ~60 mph on the highway and don't even really need the wipers

Sunroof got stuck opened and off track, had to take it apart and get it all back together. Shifter **** fell off, had to find the screw and fix that.. About to do side covers and valve cover gaskets if it ever stops raining.

Ah, the V6 side covers had almost forgotten about those.

Hope it all goes well with the car.....and I hope you don't get washed away, TX has gotten their share of rain recently.

Thanks! Question.. Those side covers.. Is there a write up about those? Do you need to put RTV on them?

The 5th gen v6's are a rare breed so I don't have a shop/service manual for them.

Just me and knowing where they are and if I was doing it. I'm running a thin coat on both sides of the gasket. I'd either let it "tack" to the block or the cover - just enough to hold the gasket in place. That way I'm not trying to hold the gasket in place as I start the first few bolts.
