yeah I vac it out after I was done. I took that pic about hr. before I was fully finished and be4 my phone died (only had 2min of life on the bat. I wanted to get a few pics b/c I had tons of parts to put back in the car and you can’t even see the floor. I still have a little bit to do on both front sides where the vent for the floor is. I'm thinking of just taking that out all together. But I'm not sure if I should. Will it leave a hole open for dirt and other crap to get into my vents? I don't have a/c but I still will need heat for winter and defrosting the windshield

nope it comes off easy but you have to hit the flat head very firm and it comes off in chunks. I tried it w/o the dry ice and it was coming up easy so I didn’t see the need to spend money when I can do it for free...I like free

Free is always good I'd heard in some cars it's a huge pain to get out, maybe it's hardened with age.

there was parts where I could break parts off with my hands. It was in the 80's today so it wasn’t not really hot but not cold either. I have read the same thing about being really sticky. I read on another forum where some idiot used a torch and made a HUGE mess. LOL but I guess you have live to learn

Burning tar is not a pleasant scent.

Works like a charm. I use dry ice or liquid nitrogen a lot at the lab I work at because it's readily available (multiple dispensers on every floor) and just a few drops or a small chunk will freeze about anything to the point of being easily broken/scraped off! Saves me a lot of time and it's fun! Plus sometimes we make ice cream with liquid nitrogen too

Well I have removed all the tar from the cb except the for tar on my wheel well in the trunk. It was so thin it was not even worth removing. It would have no weight. I ended up with 11lbs of tar out of my car.
