Default need a tranny.

It may be a long shot but I need a auto trans for my 98-02 accord 4cyl. I live in Mobile, AL so im not to sure if anyone is around here or somewhere close. not looking for junk just need something to drive it for a little while longer. I can be reached easier at (251) 490 9752 thanks

have you looked at pick n pull or a junk yard in your area?

Yeah Ive called about every place from pcola to gulfport. even looked a little ways up north as far as Montgomery. Craigslist, google maps, this fourm and some others I sometimes look on. Every pull it place I call wants 1400 to 2k for one, and like I said I can get it rebuilt for 1500 from a reliable mechanic I know, just trying to see if I can find one in not so bad condition, so I could save a little money. Never knew these things were made of gold.

Check over my way in Tallahassee. Our Pick N Pull is FULL of accords. Also since you have a f23 engine you can use a f22 trans. But I think you need to get a f22 trans from a OBD2 car. I think in 94 or 95 they switched over to OBD2.

That was actually another question i had. Ill definately check out that way and look in to the f22 trans also

I'm helping my dad sell parts on his 98 Honda Accord Coupe. I think it's a 6 cylinder. Would the transmission from it work for you?

As far as I know its completely different. Someone let me know if I happen to be wrong, because there 3 at berrys u pull it down the road.

no a v6 trans will not bolt to a 4cyl.
