Just another useless Corvette taken off the road. Thank god. Only sports-loving, self-indulgent associate vice president of nowhere without any knowledge of cars buys those. I actually know a guy who bought a Corvette with an AUTO trans because he was unwilling to wait for a manual to be shipped from the factory.

I agree with the above. AnAUTO Corvette is a useless pice of s***. The only reason they are made is for lazy people and women who won't learn to drive a manual.

 

Hey!!! I like Corvettes!!!! True it would be manual, but you really can't beat a tuned Vette in handling or power.

I don't mind vettes and there is one or two years I wouldn't mind owning....and just happened to find this particular one while I was in Utah working

 

 

i hate the new vettes as well, but ill take a grand sport in a heart beat. or a stingray. I had the pleaseure of riding in one once and it was one of the greatest experences ive had

Problem w/Vettes isn't the car - its the image. When I picture a Vette in my head, I see a 45 yr old blonde woman who's ordered everything on her plastic surgeon's menu stepping out of it. Oh, and her surgeon was low-budget & she's been in the sun waaaaayyy too much.

What SHOULD come to mind is a fast car cornering UP a steep winding mountain road driven by a normal but attractive man who can't wipe the smile off his face. Tho I won't buy a Vette, I know that's what they should be used for.

Just like Camaro drivers are percieved to drag their knuckes & slap women around for sport. Maybe THATS why GM can't sell a car no matter what.

No offense to any Italians, but northern NJ is overrun by juicing muscleheads that tend to be Italian, not all, but the majority from my experiances.

Also, this is not a generalization for Italians. It is a generalization of the muscleheads around here.
