they probably would prevent premature drying out and cracking and leakin grease. IMO not worth the work to put them on unless ur already gonna replace the tie rod ends. What would be the real overall potentional of them?

Only place I could see them is over the end of the tie-rod dust boot. That boot is a dust cover for the inner tie-rod ball jt and end of steering rack. All the boots I've had fail split in the middle of the boot, not the ends.

Maybe I'm missing something but looks to be worthless IMO.

good luck

Those look like replacements for the rubber boot that comes on the tie rod. Not worthless, but it's a replacement part. Doesn't go over the existing boot but replaces a torn original.

but once ur original boot splits and u lose grease/get in water/dirt then the joint is on its way to failing. Even if u replace a split on eventually it will go bad and need to be replaced

If it's meant as a tie-rod ball joint boot, I've seen these and they are poorly designed substitute for the OEM ball joint boot. Problem is they have only a tiny ridge as a retainer which will allow water and dirt to enter the ball joint.

good luck
