Default 20" on an 05 accord

gurus this may have been asked in the past but im kinda looking at 20"'s for some time now coz im looking to upgrade from my 18"s.

i checked what was locally available and this is my best candidate.

wheels size: 20 inch
rim width: 7.5
offset : 40

tires are 225/35/20

can i get this to work on my accord?

thanks in advance fellow accord lovers.

Wheels will work. Check http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html witht he new tires and stock tire size in the door jamb to see how much your speedo will be off.

cool thanks!!

i am more concerned with its offset!

i dont like it when i see cars that have wheels protruding from the fender due to improper offsets.

I have no idea, but you may have to roll your fenders with wheels that big.

Look on cardomain.com for your specific year of Accord for one w/ 20" wheels.

+40 is good offset. I have +45 on my car and its flush up front and is about 5mm in the fender in the back.

What accord do you have?

You won't have to roll the fenders if your not lowered. I can post pics of my offset tomorrow

thanks i really appreciate ur help.

BTW mg 7th gen is lowered 1.5 inches.

from what i have read here it think the best way is to look for 20" dubs with an offset of 45-48.

am i correct?

I have seen 9.5 in. wide wheels with no spacers on an Accord, so 8.5 is not the limit.

8.5 is not the offset. The offset is inside the wheels and it will say something like "ET +42" or something similar.

IMHO the 8.5 is the width of the magwheels.

i finally ordered my 20's here is a picture of it.

bad news is that it will take over 6 weeks to arrive.
