Don't worry about the picture man. It's ok, but thanks for looking. Do I really need to worry about putting a primer on for the rust or can I just put flat black on over the rust? And is there any way to avoid having to take off each wheel and do it individually, even though that's the right way to do it, because I don't want to have to take each wheel off, it's just too much work. I'm not too lazy or weak or anything like that, it's just that my mom and my dad are going to be on my back if I do this and I want to find the quickest andeasiest way to do this while still keeping them off my back.

haha My mom is like that. My dad is really into muscle cars and is usually grumpy but oh well! As for just painting I am not sure! And im not sure about leaving them on and painting them. You'll have to get some advice from the real experts in here! I guess, you would tape off the holes from the backside of the wheels but make sure you tape off any sort of crevices such as where the lug nuts go so that they dont jam up w/ paint if you ever take the wheel off.

Yeah, I think I'd be able to do it with them still on, as long as I tape off everything that paint shouldn't be creeping into. But I still am a little worried. Do you think that it would be okay to just spray the black on over the rust or do I need to put a primer on the wheels first?

It doesn't look like he spray painted his rims, though. Maybe I'll put the new wheel covers that I get on first and then see if I think I should still spray paint them black or not.

You want to be defense then poser? Thank you HuYnHness. I think when I go tomorrow I'll ask and make sure they're returnable, put them on the car, take pictures, and then ask your opinion. If they are returnable, then I'll do all that, and then I'll either return them or keep them. The only thing is, I don't want the fake chrome rims but I do want the other rims which are around $39.99. I'd rather have the silver rims or the painted rims instead of the fake chrome rims. I'll add pictures tomorrow on this thread so keep your eyes open. Thanks guys.
You do that and we can all give you our opinion..dont crack one because they are more than likely made of plastic..

Yeah, I'm nervous about that, I bet you more then anything that I'll crack at least one of them. I'm not going to get the chrome rims by the way, I just want something that is a little bit better then what I already have.
